A Seaside Fairytale Wedding at Castello di Tafuri, Sicily

Hayley & Nick dreamed of an intimate seaside wedding in April… and I knew exactly where their hearts would find home: Sicily.
The moment they saw Castello di Tafuri, perched above the Mediterranean like a jewel of stone and sea, they fell in love. It was everything they had imagined, timeless, breathtaking, and deeply romantic.
There was just one challenge: April is not the castle’s official opening season. Yet with years of trusted relationships and careful planning, I was able to coordinate every detail so that the doors of this enchanting place opened early, just for them. A dream come true for this sweet couple traveling all the way from England.
But fairytales often hold a twist… and theirs came when the civil wedding documents disappeared in the mail. In that moment, patience and meticulous organization became everything. Step by step, phone call after phone call, I navigated offices and deadlines, keeping the couple calm while working behind the scenes. And with persistence, and a little help from DHL, the paperwork arrived just in time.
On their chosen day, the Mediterranean sparkled, the castle embraced them, and Hayley & Nick said “I do” exactly as they had dreamed: surrounded by love, nature, and the timeless beauty of Sicily.
