Lauren & Chloé: Discovering Their Dream Location on Lake Iseo, Italy

When Lauren and Chloé first reached out to Italian Allegria, their dream wedding in Italy could have taken many forms: Puglia with its sweeping sea views, the charm of Sicily, or the timeless beauty of Tuscany. With so many breathtaking options, it’s no wonder they felt a little overwhelmed.

During our very first video call whether it was intuition or experience, I instantly imagined them celebrating at a venue on Lake Iseo. It often happens in these first conversations: they are precious moments where I begin to understand not just a couple’s vision, but their true essence.
Their initial shortlist included Calabria, Puglia, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria and of course, Lake Iseo. Choosing on paper was nearly impossible, so I suggested a site visit. Lauren and Chloé explored Puglia and Lake Iseo with us, and just as so often happens, the place they hadn’t considered at the beginning became the one that stole their hearts and set the stage for their dream day.

From that point on, planning unfolded naturally. Lauren and Chloé are such a warm, joyful couple that translating their vision into reality was truly a pleasure. They knew what they wanted, yet were always open to guidance and inspiration. Together, we designed a celebration that was authentic, deeply personal, and beautifully true to them.

Because at Italian Allegria, planning isn’t just about timelines and budgets it’s about getting to know our couples, guiding them toward hidden gems, and creating a wedding that feels like the most genuine expression of their love.

We got married on 19th September 2024 at Castello Oldofredi on Monte Isola, and Cristina was our wedding planner. From the moment we started working with her, she completely understood our vision and made sure every detail was perfect. She took care of everything, especially on the day of the wedding, allowing us to be fully present and even making sure we took a moment just for ourselves amidst the celebration.

Cristina went above and beyond when our decor, shipped from abroad, only arrived the morning of the wedding. She tirelessly chased it down and ensured everything was in place. She really got to know us, and it was clear she cared deeply about making our day special. From taking us out for dinners to showing us the local area, connecting us with locals, and even getting me medicine when I fell ill, she truly thought of everything.

Her local knowledge and ability to speak the language made a huge difference, and we felt like we could completely trust her to bring our dream wedding to life. She also helped us save money where we could and has such strong relationships with everyone on and around the island, which made everything feel even more personal. You can tell how much everyone loves working with Cristina, and how much they respect her too. Cristina is a boss and a queen, and we loved having her as our planner!

We’re genuinely sad that our regular catch-ups have come to an end, but we are so grateful for the experience she helped create for us. Thank you, Cristina, for everything!
